It’s very hot today! In Tokyo, it is 37C, 98F! When I was walking down the street, I felt as if I’d been in a hot water.
Anyway, I think eating curry is the best under such a cruel temperature. Look, people in hot countries like India, and South East Asian countries, eat curry so often. Curry must be good for the health under the harsh sunshine.
So I ate curry for lunch. Today’s curry was “7&i Gold Beef Curry.” ￥348.
The curry was a little different from the other curries I introduced to you. You should keep it cool in the fridge. As you know, usually, you don’t have to do that when you handle that kind of curry. It’s easy to keep and cook them, so the ready-to-eat curry is popular.
But, as I read in a certain blog, the manufacturer of this curry has a different view about the product. They don’t regard the curry as just another ready-to-eat curry, but as a competitor of popular restaurants’ curries, such as CoCo Ichi, and so on.
Now, I’m going to talk about the taste of the curry.
As soon as I cut open the pouch, I became happy. I said, “It smells very good.”
Then I found several big pieces of diced beef. That excited my appetite much more.
“Yummy!” ーThat was my first and last impression on this curry.
It’s slightly hot, but generally it’s a mild taste. I thought sliced mushroom played a big roll, which kept the taste balanced, not so hot or so sweet.
Beef was a bit different from what I’d expected. It’s hard to describe the taste, but it was something like a sausage or spam, rather than beef.
Anyway, it was very delicious.
Though it cost me ￥348, I was very happy.
★★★★(I want to eat it again soon.)
